Souderton’s young people face challenges on a daily basis -- substance abuse, neglect, abuse -- the list is far too long. If we expect our youth to grow up and become productive citizens of society --they needed a place where they can be just kids. That’s where the vision for the Indian Valley Boys & Girls Club started.
In 2002, under the leadership of Charles Ebersole, the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club stepped up to lead and orchestrate the fundraising efforts for the club. That was 5 years ago. Today, the club is in full operation, meeting the needs of thousands of kids in our community, every week.
The story of Boys & Girls Clubs is the story of America -- filled with challenge, opportunity and hope.
