This is a wonderful example of a turn-of-the-century building, renovated into a modern, upscale office space with the perfect retail space on street level.

Brief History

Colonial Revival architecture. The Montgomery Electric Company, borough offices, police station, town prison, waterworks as well as the fire department all shared space in this building at one time or another.

The building was constructed about 1900, while the Perseverance Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was organized in 1901 and with 23 members housed its apparatus at its headquarters in the Borough Building on January 1, 1902.

Civic Organizations such as the Men’s Business League, American Legion, Chamber of Commerce and the Rotary Club originally met in this building as early as 1909.
